Illegal LPG Warehouse Raid in Cirebon

Erlangga Bimo Saputra - 20 October 2022

CIREBON - The suspect did this by just watching YouTube.  The suspect made a tool that had been modified to move the contents of the gas cylinder, namely a pipe.  The suspect did this because the profit earned was very large.

The police explained that the perpetrator used his house as a warehouse for storing gas with his address at Karang Anyar, Mundu Pesisir Village, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency.

The police also explained that when the arrests were made there was a lot of evidence in the form of 31 gas cylinders consisting of green gas cylinders and pink gas cylinders that were either empty or filled.

The police also explained that while being interrogated, the perpetrator admitted that he sold the gas cylinders at a cheaper price for green gas cylinders and a bit more expensive for pink gas cylinders. This is due to the practice of mixing gas which is carried out unfairly.

The police also added that the perpetrators had been doing this since January 2022 and every month they could sell 15 gas cylinders to the public.

For his actions, the perpetrator was subject to sanctions and a fine of 6 billion and a criminal sentence of 6 years.
